Lebensraum translates to living environment or more scientifically speaking to habitat and biotope. This series aims for showing the differences of these living environments and by doing so impliying different intentions behind these environments. These intentions may range from „having a (temporary) place to stay“, via „arranging with what you got“ to „realising the individual idyll“. These intentions are closely intertwined with peoples cultural origin and economical means, raising envy and suspicion on why somebodies are so close to their individual idyll and others are so remote. In the times of social turmoil these pictures may indicate a manifestation of social inequalities and hence be a contributor to social uncertainties.
